APC Lifts Suspension on Okorocha, Amosun, Akeredolu, others
The incubent- All Progressives Congress on Monday, 16th December, 2019 lifted the suspension on some key members of the party, including Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, former governors Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha, as well as Osita okechukwu, and Usani Usani.
They were suspended for alleged anti-party activities in the runup to the 2019 general election.
National Publicity secretary of the party, Lanre Issa-onilu, says the APC has learnt from the fall out among party members in the past months, he noted that a reconciliation process is ongoing at various levels.
