Anti-Xenophobic Attack: Police to Prosecute Arrested Protesters -IGP ||| NEWS CORNER
The Inspector General of Police has said that the protesters arrested in Lagos and other sates of the federation in connection with anti-xenophobic attacks of Nigerians in South Africa would be prosecuted.
Muhammed Adamu who spoke to journalists in Ado Ekiti after meeting a cross section of Ekiti citizens as well as the men and officers of the Ekiti police command commended the command and promised to continue to address their welfare and charged them to continue in the fight against crime and criminality.
Fielding questions from News men on the crack down of the police on anti – xenophobic protesters in Lagos, the IGP said that the arrested protesters would be prosecuted.
Community leaders and other stakeholders at the occasion had the opportunity to address the IGP.
