Amb. Uju Condemns Nonchalant Attitude Of Imo Legislators Over LG, Judiciary Autonomy, Calls for their Recall…Says They murdered Sleep
By ThankGod Emeh…
Renowned media guru and seasoned political Stakeholder in Imo state, Ambassador Chika Uju has condemned in great terms the actions and inactions of members of the Imo State House of Assembly in rejecting the motion seeking autonomy of Local Governments and the Judiciary.
Ambassador Uju while decrying the effects of the rejection of the motion in an interview with newsmen, accused the House members of being the architects of the state problems through anti-people legislations.
“Those representing us in the 3 arms of the government are architect of our woes. Very unfortunate situation.
Heart of man is evil no wonder God regretted creating man in the book of Genesis 6 verse 6.”
She stressed that the stance of the Imo state House of Assembly members calls for thorough assessment of whose interests the Honourable members are representing and protecting if not the people.
“The Imo House of Assembly members failed again this time woefully for rejecting the autonomy of Local Government, Judiciary etc.
How can they do such? Does it mean they do not understand the meaning of autonomy or they are illiterate representing their people? Why did they permit to be the first State out of the 36 States in the Country, and the FCT too to be used?
Who paid them for such inglorious services?”
Ambassador Uju however called on the masses to ensure they recall their Representatives at the fast approaching polls as the members are being bought over to work against them in matters that concerns them most.

“As the 2023 election approaches, electorates should know whom they are sending to represent them irrespective of party affiliation.
They should know that some people’s mandate will be collected or taken by lawsuit due to their antecedent in the past as Imolites are now wiser.”
“To be honest, those that moved that motion should not return back to the House. Their people should as a matter of fact, recall them home. They are cheap”
“If they understand why they are there, they wouldn’t have messed up themselves.
This is the highest ignorance of the 21st century.
They are disappointment to those they represent”
The media expert however expressed optimism that God will do a new thing and advised all and sundry to be at alert.
“My happiness is that a day shall come when we shall stand in the presence of God to give account of our stewardship. I urge them to look for Ekpere n’abu and sing 239. ‘Only by our deeds we will be remembered’ “
