Abia Youths Pass Vote Of Confidence On Hon. Mascot Ikwechegh …Describe Bolt Driver’s apology As True Approach of Comradeship

Speaker Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Abia state chapter Rt. Hon. Kachy Madukaego has commended member representing Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon. Mascot Ikwechegh for his show of humility and maturity in his recent altercation involving a bolt driver in Abuja.

Rt. Hon. Madukaego who led a delegation of Abia state youths to the National Assembly on a one day working visit, emphasized on the need for public officers to develop a sustainable public relation channel with their constituents and the society at large.

“We are greatly impressed with the public exhibition and remorseful approach of Hon. Mascot Ikwechegh thought-out his challenging period, he has shown a true spirit of leadership and one who knows when to call back the shot.

“His drive for youth empowerment in Abia state has witnessed the training of over 5000 Abia youths in Agro and entrepreneurship skills, among free transport scheme for students and artisans.

We are also not surprised that the said bolt driver, Mr Stephen Abuwatseya has come out to tender an unreserved apology to our honourable member, with that been said, it is assumed that every other 3rd party should desist from further lamentations.

Furthermore, we want to reassure our support and confidence in Hon. Mascot Ikweghche member representing Aba Federal constituency, the youth of Abia state will not take for granted attempt by any group or individual to disparage one of our leaders, therefore we encourage all aggrieved group to accept dialogue and focus on improvement of our economy and governance, he concluded.
