Nigeria Police Force: Survey to End SARS, reckless operations launched as Nigerians react.
ThankGod Emeh, Owerri.
The twitters social network has in recent times gone abuzz with hash tag #EndSARS trending following the call of President Buhari to Inspector General of Police, Idris to launch a thorough investigation into the operations of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
The directive is to arrest the alleged malhandling and maltreating citizens in course of operations.
It is not out of place to say one reason Nigeria has yet to make progress in most areas is ignorance, disregard of her citizens in line with obfuscation of data as many Nigerians negate the move to end the alleged SARS inhumane treatment and operations.
According to Emeka Kalu, when interviewed by News-Corner crew, said that the SARS operatives are well trained and knows what they are doing as criminality is not shown on the face.
He added that some criminals dress well while others dress ruggedly to be identified easily hence the need for proper interrogation on check points to double check doubts.
Here are 5 reasons you should take the #EndSARS survey:
1. It’s is an anonymous survey, your identity is fully protected.
2. It’s a short survey. Most people complete it in 3minutes.
3. You are contributing to the birth of a new Nigeria that your children will be proud of.
4. It will help us understand the problem better and assist our advocacy for responsible policing in Nigeria.
5. You will be contributing to getting justice for many Nigerians that have lost their lives to bad governance, irresponsible policing and indept intelligence gathering.
