NOGASA Committed to Curb Oil, Gas Vandalism Adulteration- Ojiako

National Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria, NOGASA, Enugu Zone, says it is ready to join government to curb Oil and Gas vandalism and adulteration.
NOGASA added that this is in a bid to help sanitize the Oil and Gas industry to add to the growth of the economy to strengthen development.
NOGASA made this known through its Enugu Zonal Chairman, Deacon Chibuzo Ojiako, during its Official Flag Off Campaign against illegal operations of Oil and Gas in the country, in Owerri, on Tuesday.
Ojiako while identifying NOGASA as an association which guides all Oil and Gas Suppliers in the country, maintained that its objective is to enlighten people against illegal activities of oil and gas including fishing out vandals from their hideouts.
Ojiako stressed that NOGASA is also poised to join hands with other relevant bodies to fight illegal oil and gas operation, insisting that “NOGASA is out to curb Oil and Gas theft and adulteration. This is why we are warning those who indulge in illegal oil and gas activities to desist or face the sledge hammer of government. We do not compromise because we are for effective oil and gas surveillance and operation against the country’s economic saboteurs”.
Ojiako said NOGASA is ready to take the bull by the horn by deploying all positive strategy to ensure that it achieves its goal while complementing government’s efforts.
“NOGASA is here today to showcase its readiness to complement government effort to fight oil and gas vandalism and adulteration to enhance national development. NOGASA has four Zones with nine States making up Enugu Zone. We cannot afford to disappoint the government having promised to be proactive in the assignment during our NEC Meeting at Abuja recently”, Ojiako said.

Urging the independent petroleum marketers to stop patronizing illegal Oil and Gas operators as to entrench sanity in the Oil and Gas Sector, the National Taskforce Chairman, NOGASA, Comr Chibuzo Obijunwa Iheme, a licensed Oil and Gas Marketer, warned them that any one caught would be punished according to the law of the state, advising them on genuine Oil and Gas business and activity.
“We know ourselves and what to do to fish out those sabotaging national economy. We are prepared to take challenges to eliminate Oil and Gas bunkering and adulteration to enhance production of the natura resources in the country, Iheme maintained.
Reiterating their commitment to actualise the aim of NOGASA, Comr Chike Ejike, Zonal Taskforce Chairman, Cletus Ojiako, Zonal Secretary and Mr Nwosu Felix, State Chairman, NOGASA, vowed to “bring to reality every promise NOGASA made to the federal government. We enjoin illegal oil and gas operators to stay clear from oil and gas vandalism and adulteration”.
NOGASA praised the federal and state government for making effort to quash oil and gas bunkering and adulteration to grow the economy for national development.
