The Member Representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ikenna Ihezuo has been conferred the Patron of Uju Charity And Empowerment Initiative, UCEI.

The Honour which was done on Wednesday November 20, 2024 in Owerri; according to the UCEI Management was duly informed by his outstanding and unwavering contributions to the frontline humanitarian organization to forge her courses.

The founder of UCEI, Ambassador Chika Uju extolled the House Member for his leadership strides across his Constituency and beyond which informed the unanimous choice of the Board of Directors to not only make him the Chairman of the organization but confer him the first Patron of the organization.

Ambassador Uju said making him the Patron is an honour well deserved owing to his achievements, personality and humanitarian records over time which would benefit the organization to draw from his wealth of experience.

“Your immense financial and moral support to Uju Charity & Empowerment Initiative cannot be overemphasized. You have really shown us that you are truly a worthy son of Eziachi who believes in humanity, identifies with goodness and humanitarian services”.

Presenting the Patron Award to the Lawmaker , a proactive Member of the Initiative, Lady Juliet Dim stated that the honor was to duly appreciate the Legislator on his Chairmanship among other notable contributions at the launch of UCEI, adding that the legislator is a dependable fellow hence the award.

“Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo is a wise human being who contributed significantly to the success of the Initiative during its official inauguration. Crowning you with the Patron Award is a way of saying Thank You, Sir”

Responding, the House Member, Hon. Ikenna Ihezuo expressed utmost happiness for the Honour from UCEI, assuring that he will earnestly support the foundation whenever the need arises for having shown capacity, commitment and willpower to diligently run the organization and genuinely cater for the needy.

“I accept the Award of Patron conferred on me by UCEI with gladness and it will continually spur me to increase my charity to humanity.

“Uju Charity and Empowerment Initiative has come to stay and I will always appreciate you, my commitment is unwavering. I will always support you as you touch lives positively”, Ihezuo assured.

Adding his voice, a kinsman to the Hon. Ihezuo; Chief Eddy Ezurike lauded the founder and management of Uju Charity And Empowerment Initiative, UCEI for the concept, move and touch of God to cater for the needy as he prayed for greater heights and exploits of the organization.

The Secretary of UCEI, Hon. Victor Diala acknowledged the personality and commitment of the Patron of the NGO and assured him that the Board members of UCEI would not disappoint him and the public in reaching out to the needy.

“Sir, on behalf of the Founder, Board and Members of Uju Charity and Empowerment Initiative, I promise that we will always cherish you and work with you cordially to move on. We will not let you down, but do not hesitate to advise us when the need arises”, Diala stressed.

Speaking, a trustee of the foundation, Chief Charles Nwankwo thanked the Patron, Hon. Ihezuo for his benevolence and immense contribution to the success of the official inauguration of the foundation.

“I immensely thank you for the honor you have done to the initiative. We will always hold you in high esteem”.
