President Buhari Directs Cabinet Members to Hand-Over May 28
Predident Muhammadu Buhari has directed his cabinet members to remain in office untill the 28th day of May, 2019 as well as submit their handover notes to the office of the secretary to the government of the federation twenty-four hours before his inauguration for a second term in office.

Mr President stated this on Wednesday during the valedictory session of the federal executive council at the presidential villa, Abuja, while praising the ministers for their hard work, diligence, resilience, commitment and selfless service to Nigeria.
He said reconstituting his cabinet was never an option based on the quality of contributions, knowledge, expertise and patriotism of council members.
President Buhari encouraged the outgoing ministers to be proud that they were part of a historic governance team that made significant contributions to National development.
He paid glowing tributes to the former minister of state for Labour and Employment James Ocholi who died alongside his wife and Son in a ghastly car accident in 2016.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who thanked the President for the confidence and trust reposed in him all the period he served as Acting President of the country, prayed for his sound health and strength to take the country to the Next Level .
The outgoing ministers in their Valedictory remarks also praised President Buhari leadership style and statesmanship, adding that his cooperation and support inspired them to perform better.
