Oru West SOLAD, Ikenna Adikibe, accused of intending fraud, extortion over IMSUBEB contract
Still battling with the mess he finds himself by secretly obtaining the APC Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest for Chairmanship in the 21st September 2024 Council Polls in Imo State without officially resigning his appointment, Mr. Ikenna Adikibe, the Sole Administrator (SOLAD) of Oru West LGA, is at his dubious antics again.
This time, he was accused of intending to swindle a registered contractor with IMSUBEB, who happens to be a Leader in Oru (North) West LGA.
The Oru West SOLAD was alleged to have provided his personal account number with the United Bank for Africa (UBA): 1010104665, for the ongoing proposal to renovate Primary Schools in Imo State for a payment of #150,000.00 into his private account and not even the IGR account of the Council.
This piece of information was revealed by one of the interested observers, who did not want her name in print, in Owerri on Wednesday.
“The above is an extortion and dubious attempt to dupe a registered Contractor and a Leader from Oru (North) West LGA, with IMSUBEB, by the sitting Sole Administrator (SOLAD) of Oru West, Mr. Ikenna Adikibe, who provided his personal account number with the United Bank for Africa (UBA) account number: 1010104665, for the ongoing proposal to renovate Primary Schools in Imo State, for a payment of #150,000.00 into his Private Account and not even the IGR account of the Council”, he alleged.
The concerned Amazon wondered, “how can a sitting SOLAD in Oru West and in this our corrupt free and zero tolerance administration championed by Senator Hope Uzodinma, keep embarrassing the Government everyday while in office? Only God knows how many unsuspecting Contractors he has swindled so far? Is that how he runs the local government council?
“This was his alleged character and corrupt conduct in his former (Elf) Oil Company in PortHarcourt, River State, before he was summarily dismissed and sacked from the Company a couple of years ago.
“It is high time this dupe called Ikenna Adikibe, should be shown a way out before he causes more damage to this noble Government”, she added.

Efforts made to reach the SOLAD was futile as refused to pick his call.
