“Operations Show of Force” commissioned to further Safeguard Lives and Properties -Imo CP
The Imo State police command in a bid to eradicate criminality to its barest minimum has commissioned “Operation Show of Force” in the state.
Briefing newsman at the Police headquarters in Owerri, the Commissioner of Police Mr. Chris Ezike said the exercise was geared toward safe guarding lives and property in line with its constitutional mandate.
Mr Ezike who disclosed that the exercise which would touch every part of its command base and instill confidence in the mind of the citizenry in the State urged the people to go about their lawful business as their right would not be infringed upon in the course of the team’s operation.
The Commissioner of police further maintained that the exercise would be in synergy with other security agencies in the State for effective and efficient policing.
The men and officers of the Command flagged off the “Operation show of force” by visiting Owerri Municipal and Oguta/Egbema local government areas of the State.
