Omenala Igbo Ga Adi Int’l Set to Mark 2024 Iriji Festival, Crown Ambassadors, Other Dignitaries
A frontline Igbo cultural heritage and sustainability advocacy organization, Omenala Igbo Ga Adi International (OAIGI), has concluded plans to mark her 2024 Iriji (New Yam) festival in grand style on Sunday, 17th November 2024 as the management sends “Special Invitations” to Dignitaries across board to grace the occasion.
The Venue of the festival is Las Vegas Delicious Treat Fast Food by Umez Eronini Street Ikenegbu Owerri, Imo State. Time: 1:00 pm.

The high-powered ceremony promises to also feature the “Induction and Inauguration of OAIGI Ambassadors, Ada na Okpara, Matrons, and Patrons,” among other side attractions.
Speaking to newsmen, the Chief Executive Officer of the Omenala Igbo Ga Adi International, Chief Prince Emeh, said the organization is focused on bringing back Igbo cultural heritage, hence urging all Igbo sons and daughters based home and in the diaspora to represent Ndigbo with uprightness in dressing, arts, naming, and actions and inactions.

Chief Emeh further stressed that the annual event is aimed at celebrating the craftsmanship of the Igbo race with calculated efforts to encourage Ndigbo to keep the Igbo flag flying.
“We also encourage the youths to shun detrimental vices that are prone to mar our cherished heritage, engage in educating studies, industrialization, craft, legal and peaceful activities because it is what we are known for”, Chief Emeh stated.
Speaking also, another stakeholder of OAIGI, known as “King Ancestor Muoikuku, Grand Master omenala igbo gadi Int’l” noted that the triple packaged festival would be an epoch-making event as it would bring notable personalities from all walks of life and put them on International stage to showcase the cultural heritage of the Igbo race.

Moreover, the management calls on Traditional Rulers, President Generals, and the general Igbo to the occasion to contribute their quota and be culturally updated.
