Okey Ezeh Congratulates Imo Gov Elect-Ihedioha
- THANKS SUPPORTERS FOR STEADFASTNESS
By Bright Onyechere

The Imo State Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the last Saturday’s election, Sir Okey Ezeh, has congratulated the Governor-elect of the State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, on his victory at the polls.
This was contained in a statement signed by his media aide, Collins Opurozor, which was made available to newsmen on Thursday.
According to the accomplished banker, “Imo people have no illusion about the trivialization of governance in our state and the untold misery it has brought. They urgently await the reordering of priorities and a regime of diligence, fiscal prudence, compassion, credibility and rapid socio-economic transformation.
“Our people, by their verdict last Saturday, have reposed enormous confidence in you. I therefore congratulate you and urge you to unrelentingly work to ensure that the outcome of your governance justifies the confidence reposed in you,” Ezeh said.
He also thanked Imo people for turning out en masse to exercise their franchise, adding that the election has enriched the democratic experience of the State. Ezeh further appreciated his numerous supporters for keeping faith with him.
