He made it known that at the begining of every year they converge in Nigeria for AGM when they return for Christmas and New Year celebrations but other meetings are done in Dubai.
His words; ” in this association we pay good attention to the welfare of our members as well as good attention to Imo State, our state of origin by carrying out meaningful charity works to better the lives of our people.
The name Golf Region was given to the association because it comprises of the countries within the Golf Region, like United Arab Emirates, (UAE) Dubai , Omar, Quarter etc,
That’s why we gave it the name Golf Region”.

The association is for the welfare of our members and by extension for charity works to better the lives of Imo people here in Nigeria”
He further recalled how they bought some acres of land as a group to build Housing Estate in 2012 , saying; “if we had bought it as individuals, it will be expensive and cost us more now, we have phase one done and dusted, phase two is coming up, because some who did not indicate interest have indicated interest”
Throwing more light on their inauguration; the president disclosed that when they did their inauguration, they donated a trailer load of exercise books and other stationery to Imo State Government for free distribution to primary schools, “unfortunately what happened to those books we could not decode, after a background check we did not see the books in any primary school were it was distributed, it didn’t discourage us” he said.

“In our medical mission we have an outlined agenda to carry it in all the senatorial zones.
“The last hospital visitation we made to pay medical bills, we exhausted all the money we mapped out, at the end of the day we used our personal fund to pay for some people because the challenge we met on ground was too enormous.
“We have always tried to do the ones we could and leave the ones we could not do later, we tried to attend to the most important ones most of these things depend on cash at hand”.
