Nigeria’s Unity is Spiritually Dead, says Apostle Ohanu …calls for confederation
Apostle Gerald Glory Ohanu who is the General Overseer, City of the Lord Evangelical Ministry and General Coordinator/Rector, Priesthood And Eldership Ministry Africa College of Theology, Enyichineke, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo State, says Nigeria’s unity is spiritually dead.

For this reason, he declared that Confederal System of Government would be more valuable to maintain Federal Character in order to ensure effective peace and economic advancement.
Ohanu made the call in his address to Africa and Nigeria on the state of the Nation to mark the 6th Anniversary of the New Nigeria and Africa of the Second Generation, held last week at the Temporary Headquarters of PEMA and the City of the Lord Evangelical Ministry, Umuebube Chineke, Umuafor, Umugaragu- Juda Enyichineke, Enyiogugu, hinted that with the Confederation arrangement, States will control their resources, pay royalty to the Federal Government and hence develop at their own pace with their citizens living comfortably and happily.
He said “the Federal Government will hands off commercial activities and concentrate on internal and external security, social welfare and health”.
In the declaration with the theme, “The Shaking Of The Nation, Nigeria For A Rebirth”, Apostle Ohanu called on well meaning citizens to support President Muhammad Buhari on the fight against corruption, warning that such a fight should not be selective, advising the President not to accept plea bargain for looters and criminals.
Also, Apostle Ohanu, appealed to the President to seek God’s Agenda for Africa and Nigeria to thrive.
“The economic policy changes of this government should be proactive and not instantaneous; change policies in phases to allow for adjustment and stability”.
He enjoined youths to shun societal vices such as kidnapping, armed robbery, instructing them not to allow themselves to be used by politicians to achieve their selfish intentions, as politicians do not have their interests at hearts.
The revered servant of the Most High God, however, solicited the removal of what he termed the Global Satanic Altar in Nigeria, called 2nd World Black and African Festival of Arts and Culture, FESTAC 77, in Lagos.
Ohanu took a swipe on President Buhari for giving full consent to the United Nations Global Agenda 2030 and his support for a Palestine State, stressing that Jerusalem is the City of the Lord which He gave to the Israelites, warning that any nation that contends with Jerusalem will know no peace.
Speaking during the 2nd Matriculation Ceremony of the Priesthood and Eldership Ministry Africa College of Theology, Apostle Gerald Glory Ohanu, said the School, founded in 2013, is to bridge the gap in the Training Curriculum of Western Seminaries and Pentecostal Theological Training that did not capture the effect of African ancestral religious belief system against the Gospel of the Kingdom of Christ.
He told the students to often obey the rules and regulations of the Institution while working hard to excel in their studies, assuring them that the School has great interest in their progress and would do everything within its power to protect their genuine academic efforts.
