MonkeyPox: Imo Governor Clears Rumour of fake Immunization, calls for Calm in the State

Imo State government has cautioned its citizenry on hate speeches and rumors aimed at causing fear and disaffection.

This is due to the backdrop of the chaos it created in most schools in the state on Wednesday 11th October, 2017.

The State Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha gave the warning at Girls Secondary School Ikenegbu, Owerri when he visited the School having received a report of parents and guardians in the state forcefully entering schools to take their wards home on the fear of alleged injection of harmful vaccine by Military Personnel.Image may contain: outdoor

The Governor who arrived the school to find it deserted by students before the usual closing time, described the act as unfortunate adding that it was unfounded and uncalled for people  to think that solders would go around schools, harmfully injecting school children.
