Imo YPP Denies Endorsing Peter Obi For President

The leadership of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Imo state has disassociated itself from rumours making rounds that the party alongside six other parties in the state has endorsed Mr Peter Obi for President.
The Imo YPP state Chairman, Hon. Victor Diala stated this to news men while reacting to the viral news indicting the party in the state.
The Chairman stressed that the news is fake, baseless and act of mischief makers, who wants to undermine the standards of the YPP in Imo.
He emphasized that no state chapter of the party has the right according to the YPP Constitution to endorse any other party’s Presidential candidate hence the report making rounds is unwarranted.
According to him, it is only the National leadership of YPP that can endorse any candidate of their choice for Presidency and mandate the state Chapters to follow up.
