Imo Surveyor-General Lauds Senator Uzodimma’s Infrastructure Governor Of The Year Award …Describes Governor as Action Leader

The Imo State Surveyor General, Surv. Uzodimma Bob Odidika, fcia; mnis; mpi, has expressed joy over the Award of the “Infrastructure Governor of the Year” conferred on Governor Hope Uzodimma last weekend by the Vanguard Newspapers, lauding the outcome as well-deserved and encouraging.

Surv. Bob Odidika, made the remarks during a telephone interview with our reporter yesterday. He made it clear that the uncommon recognition gave testimony of the Infrastructural revolution being witnessed in Imo State under the able leadership of Governor Uzodimma, who he said has demonstrated for all intents and purposes that his mission is to transform the state.
The Imo Surveyor General, further praised Governor Uzodimma for his leadership prowess, administrative sagacity, sincerity of purpose, zero tolerance for corruption and unwavering determination and commitment towards effecting positive change accross various sectors of the state. He posited that through good governance, Governor Uzodimma has become a role model for current and emerging leaders.

“I’m grateful and delighted that Vanguard Newspapers after its professional fact finding exercise, singled out our dear governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for the prestigious recognition as the 2025 Infrastructure Governor of the Year. Actually, this reputable news channel, has done noble by identifying, acknowledging and celebrating the infrastructural exploits of our performing leader.
“As clearly evident in the state, the present 3R Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma, has achieved tremendously through massive road construction, provision and revitalization of public utilities to international standards. Today, we cannot quantity the social and economic benefits of His Excellency’s signature projects like the flyover, Owerri-Orlu Road, Owerri-Umuahia Road Owerri-Okigwe Road among others.”
“It’s also good to bring to awareness our governor’s other people-oriented programmes and policies beyond his infrastructural works. It’s common knowledge that our governor has empowered thousands of Imo people, especially the youths through skill up program, while creating room for employment presently geared at by the state’s civil service commission arms. Notably, peace and security have gradually returned to the state, courtesy of His Excellency’s ingenuity” Surv. Bob Odidika, noted.
He also reflected on Governor Uzodimma’s commendable disposition towards equipping and motivating workers with the necessary materials to discharge their duties with the aim of achieving effecient service delivery, hailing various interventions by the governor.
He cited an example with his office, appreciating Governor Uzodimma for purchasing surveying instruments for his workers to ensure greater productivity,
considering the land mark projects of the Energy Free Trade Zone and the policy on rural urban estates which are about to spring up and his non proliferation of land allocation papers leaves a lot unspoken.
Soliciting support for the governor to consolidate on his achievements, Surv. Bob Odidika, remarked that the Vanguard Award to Governor Uzodimma was symbolic of the enviable height that Imo State had attained in rating, as he expressed confidence that such would encourage the governor to do more for the good of the state. He used the opportunity to pray for God’s grace upon Governor Uzodimma to accomplish his good objectives for a better Imo State.
