Imo NYCN Ends Factionalization …Chukwuemeka Isidore Retained As Substantive Chairman

Factionalisation which has been brewing up sometime now in the Imo State chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has been put to an end by the appropriate authority, with Comrade Chukwuemeka Isidore Chidozie retaining his position as its substantive Chairman.

This cheering tidings was made available to our reporter in Owerri on Monday while chatting with Chukwuemeka Isidore Chidozie, the Imo State Chairman of NYCN.

Chukwuemeka did not hide his feelings as he thanked God for justifying him as the authentic Chairman of Imo NYCN.

“God is not man who lies. He says what He means and means what He says.

Today, being 4/10/19, all issues relating to factionalization of NYCN, Imo State, has been put to rest. Humphrey Osuji has keyed into our vision and mission for the overall interest of Imo Youths.

“I want to appreciate the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Imo State, Engr. Okey Umez Eronini for standing by the truth. Also, my gratitude goes to Leaders and Stakeholders of the Council who didn’t hesitate to call a spade a spade. Their commitment to the development of Imo youths cannot be overemphasised as I cannot thank enough the following people for being part of this history.

“They are: Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Affairs, Engr. Rex Okoro, Director of Youth, Imo State, Mrs C.C Ibezim, Mr. Ignatius Ibegbulem, Chief Youth Desk Officer, MYSD, Imo State, Dr Mitchell Pope Ekweh, Dr. Harold Onumo, Prince John Nwakanma, Mr. Goddy Ogbonna( CUYO COMMANDER, IMO STATE), Ichie Peter Oparadike, Hon. Anozie Udenwa, Comr. Eze Nkwocha, Comr. Izunna Agwuncha including the PRO of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Imo State, all the Ministry Staff and other relevant Stakeholders”, he cheerfully expressed.

Chukwuemeka reiterated that the end to the division in the State NYCN “is victory for Imo Youths. There is no Victor, no Vanquished, as it is the Youths who won.
I also want to thank my colleagues in the State Exco, Imo Youths, Southeast Chairmen and all men of good conscience who have supported us right from the inception of our administration in Imo State”.

He reassured that “we shall continue to provide leadership that anchors on sincerity, direction, unity of purpose and collective responsibility.
We have been challenged more and consequently, we will redouble our effort and ensure robust partnership, avowed commitment and capacity in line with the Rebuild Imo Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha. We
Thank God Almighty for bringing us this far,
to Him alone be all the glory”.
