Imo Govt Declares 2-day Public Holidays for Registration, Collection of PVCs
According to the Governor, Rochas Okorocha who regretted that state has about 480,000 uncollected PVCs stated that all markets and shops would remain closed on the two days from 6am till 4pm.
Imo government has declared Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16, 2018 as Public Holidays in the state to enable Imolites to go and register or collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) before the deadline of August 17 by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).

According to the Governor, Rochas Okorocha who regretted that state has about 480,000 uncollected PVCs stated that all markets and shops would remain closed on the two days from 6am till 4pm.
Okorocha urged the Igbos t0 rewrite their Political history and change the narratives with the 2019 election, stating that he was happy that the Igbos, for the first time have returned to who they are, and willing to play the right Politics by making sure that President Buhari receives the right votes from the South-East.
He also added that all security agents in the state will be fully deployed to enforce strict compliance.
