The 2025 Ozuruigbo lecture has been slated for Saturday, 6th of December, 2025 in Abuja.
The occasion whose theme is ‘Ndigbo in Nigeria Democratic journey: Challenges, Opportunities and the Pathway Ahead’ will be chaired by Hon. Osita Opara.
Hon. Opara, the Itoli of Mbaitoli was the Chairman of Mbaitoli local government in Imo state and has been receiving clarion calls from the various quarters in his state to contest the Imo East senatorial seat in 2027.

The Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu will be the keynote speaker while some selected Nigerian personalities have been pencilled down to receive the Ozuruigbo Leadership Awards and they include the governor of Enugu state, Chief Peter Mbah, the former Senate president, Chief Pius Anyim, Senator Ned Nwoko, Dr Chima Amadi, High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu, Emmanuel Egbe, Pastor Meso Dickson, and Chief Val Ozigbu.
The event which will take place at Yar Adua centre will be graced by people from all parts of the Federation.
