Gov. Uzodimma Announces Health Charity Fund For Indigents in Omuma.

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has announced that a Health Charity fund of ten million naira has been established for the poorest of the poor in his home town Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area, which is to be managed by the Parish Priest of St. Rose Lima’s Catholic Parish Ozuomuma to allow transparency and accountability.

He made the announcement while speaking at his home Parish, St. Rose Lima’s Catholic Parish Ozuomuma, and promised to rehabilitate the Primary Health Center at Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area, and equipment it with modern facilities, as well as provide genuine drugs to enable his people access adequate and affordable health care.

The Governor thanked God because the disturbances and destructions recently experienced in the Area has abated, and his people now have a breath of fresh air.

According to Governor Uzodimma, Omuma people should see his administration as their own, and thanked them for their continued support.

Meanwhile, preaching a Homily for the day, Rev. Fr. Alexander Ihenebo of Ahiara Catholic Diocese in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State identified the three Pillars of a believer which includes: faith, hope and charity.

He outlined that faith, which is belief, is supported by hope, which is trust, and that both are ignited and made manifest through Charity.

However, those in the Governor’s Entourage include; his wife, Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma, the Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka, the Minister for State, Education, Chief Good Luck Opiah, Government Appointees and Traditional Rulers etc.
