DNKI Moves Against Illicit Drugs ….Marks World Mental Health Day ||| NEWS CORNER

Nigerian Youths have been charged to stop the consumption of all illicit drugs and substance to avoid endangering their mental health.
The International President of DeNorsemen Kclub International (DNKI), Engr Chidi Anokwu who gave the charge while addressing members of the Kclub during Zoom Meeting as part of the activities to mark this year’s World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th of October 2022, argued that there is need for everyone to take care of his or her mental health, pointing out that every October 10th is set aside to remind the society at large about the importance of taking care of one’s physical mental health.
Engr Anokwu who noted that the theme for 2022 World Mental Health Day is, “Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority”, however announced that DNKI will establish a special Foundation to cater for people with mental Health challenges in the Society, stressing that people with mental health issues are not given the needed attention by the Society and Government.
According to him, “Today, being 10th October 2022 is World Mental Health Day, a day set aside to discuss the essence of taking care of our mental health. But DNKI as part of our corporate responsibility has decided to take a step forward by establishing a Special Foundation to cater for people with mental health challenges in the Society.”
“DNKI also as a responsible organisation, is calling on Nigerians more especially the Youths to stop the use or consumption of all illicit drugs and substance. Any substance that can jeopardize your mental health is dangerous and should not be consumed. As we mark this year’s World Mental Health Day, today, Monday, 10th October, 2022, I want to use the opportunity to appeal to the Youths to shun any drug or substance that can put their mental health in danger.”
While Wishing members of DNKI all over the World a memorable World Mental Health Day Celebration, Engr Chidi Anokwu further appealed to them imbibe
positive mental health habits like patience, exercise, happiness, adventure, relaxation, Water, total abstinence from illicit drugs and substance etc.
