Foundational Works In the Pursuit of A New Nigeria Void of Tribal Excesses

Firstly I want to express my gratitude and appreciations to the God of the whole universe, the Almighty God for His unspeakable endowments and blessings to our great nation, Nigeria both in human and natural resources. I am proud to be created and placed unto this Unique land where everything as it pertains to human and natural endowments runs unlimited.

To this reason, I hereby declare to you Lord that we as a people are very grateful for all your blessings upon us and we sincerely ask for your forgiveness to the untold abuses of all these your great deposits given to us which regrettably has become the source of the unspeakable hardship and pains that our people are engulfed in ever!

On this Lord, I hereby appeal for your wisdom to enable us manage all these human and natural potentials effectively towards moving our dear nation to an envisiaged egalitarian state that shall become the envy of other nations.

However, in the bid to achieve the desired developmental goals in Nigeria, the need to identify our strengths and weaknesses as a people becomes imperative. This thought pattern is very important because an undefined life is a worthless kind of life to say the least!
I mean, efforts should be geared towards studying and improving on core and honest research programs to uncover and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the regional units of this great Country for effective and adequate harmonization of the integral components for optimal productivity.

To stress my point home, we should endeavor to understand that Nigeria as an entity is not a nation on itself properly without the make up of individual components of the tribal or regional drives. Here, sincere efforts should be made to encourage, appreciate and recognize various regional endowments in order to boost self realization, self reliance and mutual cooperation.

I mean, efforts should be made to identify and appreciate whatever each of these regions are good at and encourage them so that their God given potentials will be developed for the betterment of all than otherwise. Thus, this very initiative must be well understood and promoted having known that no section of this country is barren of a certain prowess or endowment to say the least.

For instance, it is a well established fact that the Northern part of the nation has the agricultural prowess to their disposal. The Easterners in their uniqueness have technology and business potentials to donate to the resource development of the entire nation.

On the other hand, the people from the Western part of Nigeria has farming such as Cocoa, plantations as well as communicational endowerments to add to the national grid-as all these will culminate in making Nigeria a great nation it is destined to be.

Moreso, the fishing prowess of the South-South people and even some Northerners will not be undermined as it has the potentials of feeding the nation as well as in boasting our nation’s GDP by reducing capital flight through massive importation of these goods as well as income through exports to other parts of the world.

It is worthy of note that God in his impartial realities has greatly endowed every section of this nations with its unique endowment not to compete against each other but to compliment one another because unity in diversity equals goals unlimited.

It is rather unfortunate that we have engaged wrongly in unhealthy competition against one another instead of encouraging and appreciating each others inherent potentials owing to the seed of discord and self destruction by the enemies of this nation especially the Brittan.

The truth is this, every house that is divided against itself will surely come to ruin hence the reason for all these unending chaos with an alarming rate of underdevelopment in our society is due to the wrong perception we have against each other with high level of utter suspicious, distrust, hatred among various regional interest.

Amazingly, I am yet to confirm the person, group or region that has truly benefited from the disunity of this nation. Even those who assumed to be the beneficiaries of the status quo unknown to themselves are the most affected in the true sense as it is evident in the present day Nigeria society. No one or area is exempted from the harvest of evil that were sown longtime ago in this nation. Thus, as these people instigate and formulate ideas or sentiments that promote hatred of one region against the other, they too have not known peace accordingly true to an Igbo adage which says “any child that prevents the mother from sleeping can not sleep either”.

Consider a situation when you are holding someone on the ground and raging that he or she will not go anywhere, you too will not be free to go either obviously! As you see, the disunity or inciting divisionary tendencies against any region of this nation is not to the best interest of anyone or group locally and internationally.

Evidently, as the colonial Master’s sowed the evil seed of disunity and under development, the Nigerian citizens in return have relocated to the UK in search of peaceful atmosphere thereby causing unspeakable discomfort to them and their allies thereof.  (This though is a discussion for another day).

The Supreme Master (Jesus Christ) counseled that any house that is divided against itself is prone to destruction, therefore, we should desist from induging in anything or acts that is capable of contributing negatively towards the unity of the Nigeria.

We should rather be engaged in doing things and acts that will go a long way towards encouraging and appreciating the uniqueness of each region for mutual benefits and peaceful co-existence which is a sure bet towards gearing our nation positively in attaining developmental strides that every true and patriotic Nigerian is clamoring for. The supreme book stated “one can put a thousand to flight but two can chase ten thousand.

The gains that we as a people shall enjoy from the unity among our people can not be down-played hence the reason behind all the masterminded efforts from outside world and their internal stogies to disintegrate Nigeria by promoting injustice of unimaginable heights to ensure the reign of internal rancor and mutual distrust so that they will continually have us as their life puppets and economic slaves! Therefore, if we as a people in this nation want to come out of the present national dilemma, efforts should be geared towards proper reformation and the regeneration of our thought pattern as it affects the regional and tribal sentiments. This act is vital because doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result is said to be the newest definition of madness, now is the time to shun the prevalent hypocrisy and rise against all forms of policies and acts that are inimical to the actualization of an egalitarian Nigerian society that every true patriotic citizen of this nation desires.
