The remains of Late Mr. Felix Uzosike, aged 71, will be laid to rest on Friday, August 21, 2026, at his country home in Umuokoro Ikenga Eziudo, Eziudo, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Late Uzosike, also known as Concord, died on May 5, 2026, after a prolonged illness, leaving behind his wife, children, siblings and other members of his family.
His death has been particularly painful for his younger brother, Comrade Chigozie Uzosike, Assistant Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, as the deceased was more than an elder brother to him. He stood in the place of a father and remained a pillar of strength, guidance and support to the family.
As the family prepares for the burial, relatives, friends, colleagues and well-wishers are expected to join the Uzosike family in paying their last respects to the deceased and consoling the bereaved.

According to the burial programme, the body will leave Ogbonna Rebecca Mortuary, Obizi, Ezinihitte Mbaise, at 8: 00 a. m. on Friday for his compound at Umuokoro Ikenga Eziudo.
Lying-in-state will take place from 8: 00 a. m. to 10: 00 a. m., followed by a funeral service at 11: 00 a. m. at the compound by St. Thomas Catholic Church, Eziudo. Interment will follow immediately after the service.
For Chigozie Uzosike and other members of the family, the burial will mark the final stage of a painful journey that began with the loss of an elder who played a significant role in their lives.
