Late Uzosike, also known as Concord, died on May 5, 2026, after a prolonged illness, leaving behind his wife, children, siblings and other members of his family.

His death has been particularly painful for his younger brother, Comrade Chigozie Uzosike, Assistant Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, as the deceased was more than an elder brother to him.
