Dr Pascal Obi clears air on Loyalty to Gov Okorocha, says he Won’t betray him

The Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Paschal Obi, says his attention has been drawn to a publication in the social media wherein he was listed in a lineup for Ideato Federal Constituency in the State House of representatives allocated to him by the coalition group.

A release by Dr. Obi says such publication is a mischief as he has no dealing whatsoever with any such group and will never do.

He said for the avoidance of doubt, he is 100% loyal to the governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha whom he said was both a brother and his mentor and has through this relationship elevated him to the highest pedestal.

He said Owelle Okorocha appointed him Permanent Secretary in 2011 and made him his Principal Secretary, a position of trust in the Rescue Mission Administration.

Dr. Obi also said that Owelle’s life of selfless service and love for the people, especially the downtrodden has been imbued in him hence he can boldly say that Owelle is the only platform for his aspiration to the Federal House of Representatives and has no other political group or indication except the one ably led by the governor.

He therefore, called on people of the State especially the Ideato Nation to ignore such baseless propaganda, as it is definitely not in his character to sell his conscience.
