Community Service: Former Okuku PG receives excellence award from H4OYF

The immediate past President General of Okuku autonomous community in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Ike Martin Daniel, has bagged a meritorious Excellence Award from a known humanitarian group, Hope4OurYouth Foundation.
The Award came during the Owerri West Youth Excellence Awards 2025, held at the Owerri West Council headquarters, Umuguma, recently, organized by H4OYF in collaboration with Owerri West LGA.
Bestowing the Award on the recipient, Founder and President of H4OYF, Esorochukwu Phil Obi, noted that the honor came due to his outstanding dedication to promoting peace and unity in Okuku and Owerri West LGA entirely.


The Founder who was represented by the Matron of H4OYF, Amb. Obi Chukwueze, said Ike Martin Daniel is a good human being who used his position to affect the people and the community positively, urging him to continue to use his ideas, skills, brilliance and leadership charisma to promote peace, love, unity and development in the community.
“Ike Martin Daniel, your remarkable achievement stands out in Owerri West, Imo State, Nigeria, having excelled as the Best President General for 5 years, promoting peace and unity as the Best Community Manager”, Obi stressed.
Expressing delight over the recognition, Hon. Ike Martin Daniel who was accompanied at the event by his lovely wife, promised that he would continue to do things that promote peace, unity and development in the area.
Ike who is known for his commitment in community service and pragmatic leadership, called on the youth of the area to be godly and diligent while pursuing their talents to become more useful and economically rich.
Ike appreciated H4OYF for finding him worthy of the Merit Award, praising the Foundation’s Founder, Esorochukwu Phil Obi, for lifting humanity positively through the NGO, praying for God’s goodness goodness, direction and sustenance.
