All is now set for today’s 2018 FIFA World Cup last group B qualifier between the Super Eagles and Algeria slated for Constantine Algeria at half past six in the evening, Nigeria time.

Sports correspondent, John Nwaogu reports that the Super Eagles had a three-one win over Algeria in the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
Last month, Cameroun trashed Algeria two – zero in Younde while Zambia pipped the team one-nil leaving Algeria with just one point in five matches to place last in the group.
The Super Eagles have already qualified for the World Cup with thirteen points from the same number of matches.
South Africa will also battle Senegal in the group D qualifier.
On Saturday, two group B teams, Zambia and Cameroun will clash in the last group match.
Meanwhile, former Nigerian International, Emma Amuneke has been appointed as the new Coach of Al Khartoum Watani of Sudan on a two year contract.
Amuneke took over from the clubs Ghanaian Coach, Kwesi Appiah who now handles Black Stars of Ghana.
It would be recalled that Amuneke had handled the Nigeria’s under-seventeen as well as the under twenty teams.
He also led the Golden Eaglets to the fifth title at the 2015 FIFA under seventeen World Cup title in Chile.
In Tennis, Nigeria’s Tennis star, Aruna Quadri has been eliminated from the on-going ITTF World tour in Germany.
Quadri narrowly lost by two points to four in the hands of an unknown Hungarian, Bence Majoros in the preliminarily round.
Quadri had earlier had a convincing four-one win over Michal Obeslo of Czech Republic but the victory was not enough to qualify him for the knock-out stage.
