Abba Kyari : Medical Laboratory Scientist Faults Death on Fallen Healthcare System
Chairman, Imo branch of the Guild of Medical Laboratory Directors (GMLD), Mr Nseabasi has faulted the death of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, on the fallen of Nigeria’s healthcare system.

Nseabasi stated this while speaking with journalists in Owerri on Saturday.
The Laboratory Scientist who sympathised with President Mohammadu Buhari and Nigerians at large over the loss, regretted that the death should have been avoided if the healthcare system was something to write home about.
He hinted that the Late Kyari was placed at a disadvantaged to the Covid-19 attack due to other underlying health challenges such as diabetes.
According to him, the situation which he described as unfortunate, could have been averted if the country’s health sector was well managed.
“The death of the Chief of Staff to the President, late Abba Kyari, did not come as much shock to most Nigerians who already know the poor state of the nation’s health sector and its management.
“We learnt that he had some health challenges ranging from diabetes to other illnesses which made him more vulnerable to the Covid-19 attack. He was a very influential person in the present administration and it is rather unfortunate that he became the first executive victim of Covid-19 in Nigeria.
“I Sympathize with the President and call on other players in the political space to consider a good health system as a priority to the common Nigerian”, he said.
He prayed God to fill the vacuum created by the demise and grant Kauri’s loved ones and all Nigerians the fortitude to bear the loss.
