A ‘Must Hear For Buhari’ Against 2023 Brewing, Conflicting Presidential Interests

Heaven Link Believer International Network (HELBIN); a christian nondenominational organization in the drive for a Heaven on Earth society, an egalitarian world agenda of the movement using Nigeria as a pilot project and in furtherance of her civil obligation towards the enthronement of justice, fairness, equity as a gateway for societal peaceful coexistence and development has rise to make the following admonitions to the Father of the nation, President Muhammad Buhari with this code name “THE PRESIDENT MUST HEAR THIS !”

This submission is otherwise known as a concise towards political stability, a key to a prosperous and high speed developmental driven Nigerian state. Thus, Buhari must through responsible, responsive and decisive actions to ensure a Nigerian state where fairness, equity, mutual trust & support reigns to the envy of other Worthy nations in the following ways:

1. Buhari as a Father of the nation and one of the most decorated and favoured elder statesmen in Nigerian history should eschew all forms of tribal excesses by championing and promoting a cause for true national reconciliation agenda supposedly tagged Justice & Equity Mandate by being at the forefront in the crusade towards the emergence of a credible Igbo person (man/woman) to succeed him in 2023.

This move will evidently and automatically end or silence the secession agitations in the zone as it will ensure a sense of belonging amongst the Igbos as it shall resonate unprecedented beacon of hope towards a new Nigerian project across boards.

2. The President should as a matter of national importance ensure the revival of the amended electoral act passed by the 8th Assembly which he denied accent then for fine tuning it if need be and sign same into law to ensure credible electoral process in Nigeria going forward.

3. Mr President should ensure the actualization of the Restructuring agenda of this nation as captured in his APC led manifesto promised to Nigerians during the 2015 change mantra to ensure a true federalism driven Nigerian state of our collective dreams.

At this point, we believe that if President can identify, pursue and ensure the actualization of these golden three items (projects) especially that of number (1) as outlined above, he shall undoubtedly win the Noble peace prize on leadership and at such his name shall ring positive bell in the annals of national transformational history !

President Buhari can take a good clue from Abraham Lincoln who during his time as the President campaigned and stood against evils of racism towards the blacks in his beloved Country, America with all his might that led to the signing of the famous” EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION ACT” which declared that all men are created equal hence the whites and blacks in America should enjoy equal rights and privileges together. This act he pursued not minding the dangers and attacks he faced by his fellow acclaimed whites who opposed the move vehemently.

So Buhari should not be bothered by the legion of attacks he shall be confronted with too from his fellow Fulani networks but should be assured that all men of good will even amongst the Fulanis and throughout the federation as well as across the globe shall stand with him on this golden cause knowing fully well that the Host of Heaven shall always shield him going forward to ensure the actualization of the noble project.

We mean, Buhari should seize this golden opportunity that providence has ushered in such a time as now to remove the ugly age scar of civil war upon the Nigerian nation by ensuring a total reintegration of the Igbos into mainstream national roles abandoned almost 50 years ago when the government of General Yakubu Gowon declared a “NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED” Slogan with a 3’R’ mantra of RECONCILIATION, REHABILITATION & RECONSTRUCTION AGENDA by removing all stones of limitations and injustices for the emergence of an Igbo person into the nation’s topmost job come 2023 by leveraging on his position as the President & Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Like Nelson Mandela of South Africa too who used his position as the President of that multi cultured nation to embrace the aparthied white masters as fellow South Africans instead of revoking their citizenship and ask them to leave his Country or seize their ill gotten lands as practiced by their Zimbabwean neighbor yet he forgave them sincerely and reintegrated them into true national unification and building project using his famous Madiba’s magic which earned them the globally acknowledged nickname the “RAINBOW NATION” without out recourse to primordial acts of retaliating his almost 27 years of incarceration at the famous Robin Island isolation prison!

Mr President, in the spirit and pursuit of a new Nigeria, you can do even better, the whole world awaits to celebrate your new national patriotic stance and drive. YES YOU CAN MR PRESIDENT IF THE WILL IS STIRRED.
