Of what use is the town crier if his metal gong is broken?

Nigeria !!!
Why do you have unity in diversity?
Why have you kept mute over religious crisis?

Beautified are you with good climate, and boastful are you of empty wealth.
Of what use is the beauty of the rainbow if it cannot stop the rain?

Christians weeps over their altar spilled with blood, yet you claim the protection of life and properties.
Of what use is an iroko if it cannot host birds and give shade?

Leaders have chosen silence over actions,while fighting for political positions.
Of what use is the aggressiveness of a hen if it can’t protect it’s chicks?

You claim power and authority yet you cannot save the life of your citizens.
Of what use is the weight of an elephant if it cannot cause earth quake?

Of what use is the moonlight dance when the Queen moon is absent?
What is the use is one Nigeria when love is gone?
