PDP ‘ll Go into Extinction if Nothing is Done –Ikenga Ugochinyere …as Chief Chris Odoemenam emerges Acting Imo PDP Chairman
ThankGod EMEH...
Widespread jubilation characterized the atmosphere at the announcement of Chief Chris Odoemenam as the Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Imo state Chapter.
Making the announcement at a press briefing in his hometown, the Member representing Ideato North Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere called for the sack of the National Secretary of the party, Hon. Samuel Anyanwu popularly known as SamDaddy over critical anti-party activities that has caused the party its soul as the biggest opposition party across Nigeria and beyond.

The call according to him is to ensure a holistic cleansing in the party, hence urged the NWC to recognize Chief Odoemenam as Imo Acting State Chairman to further change the bad leadership narratives in the party.
“I call on the National Working Committee, NWC to call for emergency meeting and expel Anyanwu and Damagun from the party and elect a North Central as the National Chairman”
Ugochinyere said the high-level conspiracy of SamDaddy, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike alongside other mischief makers in the fold is to undermine the party and sell it off to the incumbent All Progressive Congress, APC for the 2027 election hence the massive defections rocking he party in recent times.
“We have an imposter in the person of Damagun and a treacherous element in the person of Samuel Anyanwu.

“We only know Anyanwu as an APC agent”
The federal lawmaker urged leaders of the party rise to the challenge to savage the crisis in the party, noting that the party will go into extinction under their watch if nothing is done.
“Look at our party today, our governors, senators and members are jumping ship.
“I learnt that forty (40) lawmakers and two (2) governors will be decamping from the party to APC in the weeks to come
“Damagun wants to remain as the National Chairman to continue to destroy the party”
Ugochinyere however queried the resolve of the party leaders, stressing that it is out of order for the National party chairman to place the fate of the party in God’s hands while destroying it at the other end with his own hands alongside his cohort’s by not doing the right things for the good interest of all.
“Damagun have stayed with Anyanwu for two good years to carry out a simple task to sink the party”

“It is arrant nonsense for Damagun to say that our fate is in God’s hands. Where was God when you refused to hold NEC meetings and obey court orders? Where was God when you took party structures to APC and where was God when you allowed crisis in Rivers State which resulted in state of emergency in the state?
Ikenga equally thanked his constituents and party members for their all-round support towards him and charged them to remain faithful he is working round the clock as the leader of the Party in the state to cleanse the party for good.
