NUC Accredits 4 Additional Programmes In K.O. Mbadiwe Varsity …VC hails Gov. Uzodimma For Maximum Support ||| NEWS CORNER
Again, Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University Ideato, Imo State has scored 100% in the recently released results of the 2022 November/December accreditation exercise by the National Universities Commission (NUC), with four (4) additional courses approved in the institution.
The four (4) programmes which earned full accreditation status are: Physics, Animal & Environmental Biology, Finance & Banking and Linguistics.
Speaking to our reporter the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ikechukwu. N.S. Dozie confirmed that all mature programmes in the University are accredited even as he recalled that during the maiden accreditation exercise in November/December 2021, the University scored 100% in eleven (11) programmes presented securing full accreditation in eight (8) programmes and Interim accreditation in three (3) programmes.
He also noted that the institution had just received approval to start JUPEB programme in the 2023/24 academic session.
While appreciating the Governor cum visitor to the University for his generous support to the institution, the VC thanked the staff for their great sacrifice and devotion to duty despite the teething challenges associated with early growth and development.
He appealed to applicants seeking quality and uninterrupted education and mentorship and a great experience after graduation to chose KOMU as their institution of first choice or effect change of institution to KOMU.
The erudite professor assured that the University Management was committed to making KOMU a first-choice destination in a short time due to the many student-friendly policies of the university which include rich curricula emphasizing entrepreneurship and leadership education, vocational and skills acquisition driven by innovative technology as well as graduates receiving degree certificates during convocation and transcripts upon demand.

K.O. Mbadiwe University, a public institution, was established in 2016 as the 42nd State University in Nigeria with the mission to train talented men and women with passion and skills to apply knowledge and technology sensibly to solve the problems of the nation and the global community at large.
The institution driven by the core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, innovation and collaboration produced her first graduates in the 2021/2022 academic session.
