Jubilation Rocks Poly Community As Dr Igbokwe Affirmed 9th Substantive Rector of Fed Poly Nekede

The general public is hereby, diligently informed that the suit filed by Kingdom Human Rights Foundation against the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Commander-in-Chief Of the Armed Forces, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu (GCFR) , the 9th Substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede and others was vacated by the court today – Monday, 23rd Sept, 2024.

Evidently, the Polytechnic Nekede Community and Imo State at large had long expected the unveiling of this Amazon, Daughter of grace and Trail blazer- Dr. Mrs. Basilia Igbokwe as the 9th Substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede. And delightfully, the institution PRO announced today (23/09/24) that the *PRESENTATION* of the new Rector – Dr. Basilia Nkem Igbokwe comes up Tuesday, 24th Sept., 2024 by 12:00pm at the 1000 Capacity Auditorium of the school.

It is Instructive to educate the general public that, the new Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Dr (Mrs) Basilia Igbokwe’s attention has been drawn to a malicious publication in one of the lmo State-based Newspapers, wherein some unsubstantiated facts were spewed to the extent that the unsuspecting public is put in alter confusion regarding the current leadership status of the prestigious citadel of learning. This is such that a negative picture of the well-articulated and smooth election that produced the current Rector of the institution has been painted in that obscure publication.

Unfortunately, the publication attempted to discredit the legality of the new leadership of Dr (Mrs) Basilia Igbokwe which was properly constituted and inaugurated recently, as the 9th Substantive Rector of the Federal institution.

Setting the records straight, Dr (Mrs) Basilia Igbokwe emerged 1st position after the Rectorship contest in Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri Imo State. Consequently, the names of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions/contestants were forwarded to Abuja, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Commander-in-Chief Of the Armed Forces, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu (GCFR) confirmed Dr (Mrs) Basilia Igbokwe who came 1st in the Rectorship contest.

The President went further to issue LETTER OF APPOINTMENT to her as the 9TH SUBSTANTIVE RECTOR OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC NEKEDE, Owerri, Imo State.

Besides, she is already inaugurated as the 9th Substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri Imo State in Abuja by the Minister of Education, in the Ministry of Education,
weeks back.

Obviously, the originators of this ill conceived reportage seemed to have literally fallen out with sleep, and have resorted to use their late night energy to feed the public with what is associated with a drowning man’s last resort fight.

Therefore, we religiously advise the public to keep calm and herald a new dawn in Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, because, promise made shall be promise kept!
