Jubilation as Njaba Son Birth World Class Football Club

It is interesting to note that a great football club, Emmanuel Football Club birth from Okwudor in Njaba Local government area of Imo state has come to stay from registration and integration with all necessary regulatory, coodinatinting and supervisory bodies in the football world.

According to reports available to News Corner, the club is registered with Imo Football Association, FA, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and International Federation of Association Football, FIFA.

The club is fully owned and anchored by a son of the soil, Mr Anthony Chigozie Onyeweke JP who hails from Umuakaje Umuseke Okwudor and base in Isreal.

The players are mostly made up of Okwudor sons as going through the list of players, names of Okwudor traditional football families like the Uchezubas, Ekwulugwos, Okoros, Agunannes Ejikemes and more are not found missing.

However, most of the managers are indigenes of Okwudor with a Confederation of African Football (CAF) licenced coach and the good news is that this club is registered for this year’s Imo League

One need to watch the team in training to know that Okwudor has football talents.

The team is having Orlu Township Stadium located opposite the timber market Umuowa and the Community School Okwudor as their home ground for their matches.

Their Third League match is today in an away game against Ever Ready Fc.
