Imo Police Command Welcomes New PPRO as Imolites Extols SP Ikeokwu

The outgoing Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) of the State Command, SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando who has been redeployed to Ondo State Police Command made this known in a press release issued to news men on Tuesday May 18, 2021.
According to him, the new PPRO is SP Bala Elkana who was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in 2003 and holds a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB), master degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution (MSC), Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) among other academic qualifications.
“He attended several courses among which are Leadership Training, Detective Course, Community Policing, Trainee Course, Combat Operation Course, Emergency Management Course, Police Relations Course”
The press release added that the new PPRO is a member of the National Institute of Public Relations and a member of International Association of Chiefs of Police as well as Fellow and ICON of Corporate Institute of Administration.
SP Ikeokwu expressed appreciation to Imolites for the cooperation and urged all and sundry to extend the good working relationship to his incoming colleague whom he described as round peg in a round hole in the force having creditably served in many high positions.

“I therefore want to thank you all for this rear opportunity of working with you, working with you all have not only been a good experience but also a very rewarding one too, no doubt, I have grown to be a better person through my period in this office. My consolation is that I am leaving you all in safe hands because I know that the new PPRO is such a wonderful person and will do much better”
Meanwhile, Imolites, associates, colleagues as well as men and women of goodwill across the state and Nigeria at large has since the announcement of a new PPRO for Imo state command showered praises on the outgoing PPRO, SP Ikeokwu for a job well done while wishing and praying God to uplift and see him through his new and future assignments.
