Imo Journalist Amb Uju Celebrates 58th Birthday in Grand Style

Renowned journalist, Woman leader, and activist, Amb. Chika Uju on Saturday, August 19, 2023, celebrated her 58th birthday in grand style amongst family members, friends, colleagues, associates, and well-wishers who are still sending in their goodwill messages.
Amb. Uju in the spirit of the joyful moment, reached out to the people with birthday presents, while thanking them for their show of love over the years.
She expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for the new year and pray God for more happy returns.
The woman leader however charged Youths to shun social vices and be of good behaviour in society to make their parents and families proud, adding that good character and reputation pay.
She equally enjoined parents to monitor the company of their children and wards to guide them toward the right way.
“Parents should look after their children. Parents must ensure their children grow up in the right way… The Youth should shun vices as it doesn’t pay to be wayward in any way”
The seasoned journalist seized the opportunity to commend Imo state governor Senator Hope Uzodimma the quality road construction across the state while praying that the “Unrest in parts of Imo State be stopped”
She advised that “workers salaries and pensions should be paid as at when due” to enable parents cater for their children, and save the youths from turning to evil lifestyles that have ripple effects on society.
The media professional called on her colleagues to be ever-proactive in standing up for justice as the job calls for.
“Journalists should be the voice of the masses and stop defending the government”
