Imo DNKI Marks Nigeria@60 With Orphans, Gets Land for Kclub House ||| NEWS CORNER
Members of Imo State Patrol of Denorsemen Kclub International on Thursday, 1st October 2020 celebrated Nigeria 60th years Independence Anniversary with the inmates of two orphanage homes in the State.The Guv’ner of the Kclub in Imo state, Ichie Obiora Nwigwe accompanied by members of his Patrol Executive Council and Patrol Advisory Council visited the Orphanages.In his Speech while presenting some food items to the management of the Orphanages, Ichie Obiora Nwigwe pointed out that Nigeria @ 60th calls for sober reflection on the current economic conditions of the Country, stressing that Nigeria economy is in shambles.Nwigwe who used the opportunity to call on Nigeria political leaders to be more proactive in their leadership, however appealed to Nigerians to always support their leaders in prayers, adding that Nigeria can be better if the right things are done by our political leaders.He commended the management of the Orphanages for taking the pains to take care of motherless children in the society, noting that God must reward them abundantly for their selfless efforts.According to him,” Today, we are here to celebrate with you on Nigeria 60 years of Independence, we the members of Denorsemen Kclub International Imo state patrol believe strongly in charity and service to humanity. We will continue to partner with all the charity homes and Orphanages in the state. We urge you to continue to take good care of the inmates in your custody. God must reward you all for your efforts in taking care of Orphans and less privileged in the society.”In an another development, Speaking during the official hand over of two plots of land donated to the Kclub by a member of Kclub, High Chief Stanley Oparaugo at Ngor Okpala, Ichie Nwigwe maintained that it is the first of it’s kind and commended Chief Oparaugo for his kind gestures, adding that he has done marvelously well for donating land to the Kclub.He said, ” I humbled by this kind gestures, you are a treasure to humanity, I m highly delighted and we pray that God will bless you and your family abundantly for this single action of love to your brothers.”The Chairman of the Patrol Advisory Council, Engr Chidi Okenze in his Speech, asked God to bless Chief Oparaugo for his Spirit of kindness and prayed that whatever he has sacrificed, God will replenish it in ten fold.In their respective remarks, Six former Guv’ners of the Kclub in the state, thanked Chief Stanley Oparaugo for the donation and promised to work closely with the building Committee that will be set up to manage the Kclub’s property.They expressed happiness over the kind of grace that is following the new Guv’ner and commended him for his zeal and dedication to growth of the Kclub in the state.Further more, on Saturday 3rd of October 2020, the members of Denorsemen Kclub International, led by Ichie Obiora Nwigwe were at St Theresa memorial Specialist Hospital, Agbala Imo state to celebrate with one of them, Mr Adolphus Asusuchi aka Kentucky who recovered fully from mental sickness.
Speaking during the hand over ceremony of Okere Adolphus back to his family, Ichie Nwigwe expressed profound gratitude to the Management and staff of the hospital for their efforts in making sure that their member recovered fully, pointing out that the Kclub will continue to remain grateful to them for saving the life of their brother.He used the opportunity to thank all members of the Kclub in Nigeria and Diaspora who contributed money and other materials towards the treatment of Okere Adolphus and prayed to God to shower them with more blessings and protection.Nwigwe however called on the immediate family members of Okere Adolphus Asusuchi to ensure they take good care of him now he has fully recovered from his mental illness, noting that it is their responsibility to reintegrate him back to the society to enable him continue his normal life like others.…IN
