Hazard’s Departure won’t Affect Chelsea –Maurizio Sarri
Maurizio Sarri has claimed that Eden Hazard is not a leader among his Chelsea team despite the winger leading Belgium to the World Cup semi-final in the summer.
The 28-year-old’s Blues future is currently up in the air, with Real Madrid circling around a potential move with Hazard having only 18 months left on his current contract.
It’s expected that no decision will be made until the summer, however Blues fans are worried that he is set to leave according to football london.
Sarri has been playing Hazard in the false nine role in recent weeks, however he has not been happy with that and is keen to move back out to the left.
The Blues are looking to bounce back from the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend and Sarri has stated that he wants leaders to step up, but he doesn’t think Hazard is one of those and is more of an ‘individual’ player.
”I know very well the situation can change suddenly without a logical reason sometimes,” Sarri said.
