Engr. Maduagwu Becomes Fellow Of Nigerian Society Of Engineers
Renowned Engineer and philanthropist Par Excellence, Engr. Chukwuemeka
Chibueze Maduagwu, KSC, FNSE, FCAI (Ezi Nwa Aro Okigbo) has been conferred as a
“Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, FNSE”

The event took place recently in Abuja at the 21st Fellowship and conferment lecture
and ceremony organized by the Nigerian Society of Engineers with the theme “Nigeria
Drainage Pattern and Flood Events”
Engr. Maduagwu who has over the years distinguished himself in the engineering
profession evidenced by the numerous projects he initiated, monitored and supervised
to completion as the State’s Field Engineer in Charge of the Federal Roads
Maintenance Agency, Imo State Field Office was among the 52 engineers selected
across the Nation for the Honour.

During the event, the President of the NSE Tasiu Gidari-Wudil (FNSE) congratulated the
conferrers for attaining the prestigious fellowship status of the Society.
The NSE President, urged them thus ; “upon your conferment as a fellow you will
become a member of the NSE college of fellow, a privilege that signal the
commencement of another journey of responsibility to the society, the responsibility
of carrying yourselves with the dignity that the fellowship status bestows,
responsibility of increasing your efforts at participating in NSE activities and making
contribution to the growth of the society”.
Also speaking at the occasion, Mrs Ebele Okeke, Chairman of Board of Fellows, said the
board did its due diligence and found the 52 conferrers worthy of the fellowship.
She added that the 52 Engineers of which Engineer Chukwuemeka (Eze Nwa Aro
Okigbo) was among, have distinguished themselves in the practice and promotion of
engineering promotion which necessitated been conferred with the fellowship of the
society which is the highest level of any practicing engineer can attain.
Speaking after the conferment, Engineer Maduagwu, expressed delight over the
honour done on him while assuring that it would spur him to do more.
Family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers all graced the occasion to felicitate with
Engr. Chukwuemeka Chibueze Maduagwu, KSC, FNSE, FCAI (Ezi Nwa Aro Okigbo) over
the feet.
