Empire Energy Receives Medal for Youth Empowerment

Medal of “Chief Employment of Labour, Imo State”, has been bestowed on Empire Energy, a business conglomerate based in Owerri, for employing people with reasonable salary.

The Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission, ENTRACO, while conferring the award on Empire Energy through the Chairman, Clean and Green Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim noted that the Award of Honor on Empire Energy was due to its generosity of employing over 200 people who are living well and contributing to the economy of Imo State.

ENTRACO mentioned that the “Chief Employment of Labor, Imo State” Honor conferred on Empire Energy was to also appreciate it on rendering quality service to the society especially via empowerment opportunities and urged it to keep on employing and empowering people to reduce unemployment and social vice.

Responding to the Award, Executive Director, Empire Energy, Benet Korie, said the Medal was quite deserving as Empire Energy has been employing and empowering people including rendering effective service to the society.

Expressing gratitude to Imo ENTRACO for the Accolade, Korie, promised that the business outfit will continue to support the government as it rebuilds Imo State to the good of all persons.

According to Korie, the “handiwork of Empire Energy speaks volume of it. We are doing well to create employment to unemployed people especially graduates so that the society would be good and habitable for all persons”.

The Honor Award took place at Government House Chapel Premises, on Saturday, during a state function organized by Imo ENTRACO.
