DG Imo CPC Ready to Hold One Day Workshop for Food Vendors September 28

The Imo State Consumer Protection Council, under the leadership of Hon. Mrs. Obioma Okafor, has completed plans to hold a one-day seminar for all Hotels, Fast food outlets, Restaurants, Eateries, Shawarma joints, and all food vendors in Imo State.

The seminar which will take place on Thursday, September 28th, 2023, at 9am, at the CPC Auditorium opposite ISOPADEC office in New Owerri, will witness a huge turnout as the vendors in the state has identified with the council.

The seminar is aimed at raising awareness about consumer rights and needs and to caution food vendors not to compromise on the standard and quality of goods and services they provide.

It’s on record that, the Imo state CPC under the ebulent leadership of Hon. Mrs Obioma Okafor has been actively working to ensure that consumers in Imo State are protected from fake and expired products.

Hon. Mrs. Obioma Okafor long before has emphasized the need to create awareness for consumer rights and needs. The seminar will be an opportunity for food vendors to learn about the importance of providing quality products and services to their customers.
