Delta 2023: Oborevwori ‘s integrity, popularity threatens Agege’s guber ambition – PDP
…Says mace runner and clients signature forger can’t be governor in Delta State.
Delta State spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe has said that the unblemished moral integrity, popularity and the numerous achievements of the party’s governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, is obviously threatening the 2023 governorship ambition of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Oghenesivbe made the assertion while speaking to newsmen at the Ika PDP Mega Rally on Friday, in swift reaction to Agege’s negative comments on the enviable personality of Oborevwori at APC’s campaign rally in Otor-Udu, Delta Central Senatorial District.

He said Oborevwori has a clean Political and public service records spanning over two decades, and as the longest serving speaker since the creation of Delta State, due to his visionary leadership style, unblemished integrity and uncommon humility.
Oghenesivbe who is also the Leader of Sheriffied Delta Media Group; noted that Senator Agege’s tenure as the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District has been counter productive, retrogressive, a mere funfair characterized by criminal tendencies, adding that Agege’s alleged involvement in the theft of mace in the Red Chambers brought pain and agony to the good people of Delta State.
He described PDP governorship candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori as a respected political leader, a team player and an honest individual who peacefully and successfully managed the affairs of Delta House of Assembly in the past six years and counting, and therefore eminently qualified to govern Delta State as the right successor of the incumbent multiple award winning governor and PDP Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
Oghenesivbe assured that Oborevwori will defeat Senator Agege and other political parties candidates with a wide margin in the forthcoming governorship election in Delta State.
He said that the M.O.R.E Agenda of the PDP candidate, Oborevwori, has been adopted by the electorates, in contrast to Senator Agege who is campaigning without a written manifesto and cannot also point at any federal government project in the state under President Mohmmadu Buhari administration of APC failed national government of poverty and neck breaking debts.
“APC is another name for acute poverty, hunger, high inflation, bad roads, fuel price hike, insurgency, kidnapping and electricity tariff increase.
“APC and Senator Agege will be leaving office on May 29, and handing over a whopping debt profile of N77 trillion, a mismanaged economy, corrupt government, acute insecurity and a heavily fractured and pale educational and health sectors.
“There is no gainsaying the fact that criminality and corruption is flowing in Senator Agege’s blood vessels, as can be deduced from his multifaceted criminal records of perjury, forging of clients signatures, mace theft in the National Assembly, and as the most corrupt Secretary to Delta State Government, since the creation of Delta State.
“Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is aware and cannot deny the fact that he has been rejected by the good people of Delta State. He will continue to gasp for political oxygen until Oborevwori gallantly defeats him and his poverty party on March 11, 2023,” Oghenesivbe assured.
