Anti-Terrorism: Senate introduces bill to create agency for repentant Boko Haram fighters
A bill seeking the establishment of an agency for repentant members of the boko haram terrorist group has been introduced in the senate.

The bill is aimed at creating a national agency that would see to the rehabilitation, de-radicalization and integration of repentant insurgents.

The bill was sponsored by senator Ibrahim Gaidam at thursday’s plenary in abuja.
Nigerians have condemned government’s decision to free these former terrorists saying it undermines the effort put by the troops battling insurgency.
