AG Church Ebom Obokwe Dedicates New Altar, Musical Instruments Amidst Jubilation
ThankGod Emeh.
The Goshen City Church of Asssemblies of God Church Ebom Obokwe on Sunday May 1, 2022 dedicated her first of it’s kind altar in the Mbaeri 2 section alongside complete musical Instruments to God Almighty.

Dedicating the new church altar and the Musical equipments, the Assistant District Superintendent of Owerri East District, Rev. Okechukwu Esom PhD, said he is very happy to witness the change happening in the church as well as bear good testimony of the resident Pastor whom he has known for a long while.
Rev. Esom added that the church altar is one of it’s kind in the whole district, noting that the assertion that the Ebom Obokwe church is a township church and Goshen City by Pastor Evang. Prince-Samuel Ukwu is not an exaggeration but true facts.
Speaking earlier, the Youth President of the local church, Brother Loveth Anyanwu in an address expressed gratitude to God Almighty for blessing the church and as well expressed appreciation to the pastor in charge, Pastor Evang. Prince-Samuel Ukwu for his wisdom and doggedness to change the narrative of the church.
Brother Anyanwu noted that the church has in less than two years experienced a divine turnaround and transformation under the pastoral efforts of Pastor Ukwu who did not only christened the church “Goshen City” and a township church but called for all hands to be committed to the plough in God’s vineyard since assumption.
“In less than 6 months, we witnessed a lot of tremendous success and achievements spiritually and otherwise. Today our Bible Study is a weekly revival programme and our members have increased tremendously.

“Early this year after Beginning of Year prayer, our pastor told us that there is need to upgrade amplifier and money was raised but to our surprise, the amplifier came with a brand new keyboard”, he noted
“And few weeks later he challenged us again to raise money for Band and before we could complete the vows; the band is already here even when the reconstruction of the altar has began few weeks ago. Many of us were afraid but today it is a reality, Glory to Jesus”
He expressed appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the projects, adding that “the pastor and his wife contributed heavily to all the projects done in the church both in finance and in practical doing the things of God”
The Youth President stressed that the church is also in dire need of a befitting Parsonage in the church compound and called for financial and otherwise supports from members of the church as well as concerned individuals to put the church in a whole shape.
Similarly, the colleagues and visitors of the church who spoke at the dedication ceremony, emphasized the transformation in the church while urging them to always work together in all the church works and prayed God to strengthen them for greater works.
All in all, the resident priest, Pastor Evang. Ukwu thanked all and sundry on behalf of the church for contributing their quota as well as honouring the church’s invitation to return glory to God.

He prayed God to richly bless the congregation and see them through.
